I’ve been posting about my recent spell(s) of Gear Madness. It was mostly over. There has been, however, a few aftershocks. I lamented that I couldn’t find a good 8.5” / 14.5” wb deck. I also noted that I wasn’t really going to seek one out, either. Well, I stumbled upon two contenders, both by companies I am not really fond of; Baker and Zero. Both will be given an honest try.
First, is the Baker. I absolutely hate these graphics. That said, it’s got a decent shape, the basic dimensions I was looking for, and most importantly, the nose/tail are not too steep (e.g. the problems I had with Black Label 8.5/14.5 decks). Updates to follow.
