Deeper Universals
My friend Joe sent a link to this skate video today (see below), which has a timeless vibe that resonates with me on some deep level.
At this stage of the game, my basic criteria for any skate video is if it resembles Rodney’s section from Public Domain, but with a ledge, handrail, or mega ramp in the way, or is something that would make Evel Knievel blink…I pretty much want nothing to do with it. That OJ video seriously could have been filmed in the very early 1990s, or today. And that it could have been produced in either, touches upon some deeper Universal.
