@bloftin2 A few commments on this one. (1) Mic sounded great. (2) Yeah, the board height thing is weird. I also think that wider boards feel lower, and narrower boards feel higher, even if they are the exact same height, so that also plays into memory (to me) of how boards used to feel, compared to modern set-ups. (3) I have not been able to do good nose wheelies, or manuals, since the early 90s becuase of the exact height stuff you mention (nose wheelies are so much easier with a shorter nose, too). (4) Excuse my ignorance, but weren't freestylers WAY a head of everyone else with very thin/no risers? Add in tailbones, and wouldn't '80s freestyle decks be very low to the ground (e.g. the 360 issues you mentioned) compared to everything else of the time? I feel like they (freestyle decks) were often flatter than street/ramp decks.
